    We’re looking for an experienced Technical Assistant to join the team in our Equipment Division.  In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the Workshop area and act as a general hand for the Equipment Division, cleaning vehicles, maintain tools, grooming machines and other general site duties. 

    You will need to carry out oil, filter and lube work on service jobs as directed, prep and groom machines for sale, dismantle parts off our wrecking machines and other tasks as required.

    As Health and Safety is paramount in this industry you will be up to speed with practices and be able to demonstrate this in your work habits. This knowledge will help you to promote the company image in a professional manner as well as provide first class customer service.

    Together with your clear verbal communication skills, you will have a positive and enthusiastic attitude whilst working under pressure.  You will enjoy being part of a team and can work with minimal supervision. 

    Using your initiative and following instructions whilst seeking assistance when required, is also essential.

    An exciting opportunity exists to work on our latest Allison equipment in the workshop as well as developing your career, knowledge, skills and experience further within the heavy diesel industry.

    You will be responsible for working on Allison equipment and have proven previous experience working on this equipment. This is a workshop and field service role so the successful applicant needs to be a self-starter, who is able to operate autonomously as well as within a team.

    Displaying a high level of initiative and problem-solving skills, you may have used electronic diagnostic equipment in previous roles.  You will also have excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to convey technical information across different business units and levels of the company.   Along with your technical know-how, you will be a competent computer user, preferably in MS Office.

  • Parts and Services Administrator Whangarei . (Administration) . Whangarei . REF:PNSAW

    Our busy Whangarei Service workshop needs an experienced parts and service administrator to work in a part time capacity, 6 hours per day, 30 hours per week to handle job costing's, monthly invoicing and general service enquiries.
    Previous experience working in a similar role in the heavy machinery or similar industry is desirable. You will ideally have a general knowledge of the administration needs of a service workshop environment and be familiar with machinery warranty claims. 


    As Health and Safety is paramount in this industry you will be up to speed with practices and be able to demonstrate this in your work habits. This knowledge will help you to promote the company image in a professional manner so you will be able to provide a top level service to our customers in the field. 

    An excellent communicator, you will be able to demonstrate this across all levels of the company. You'll show plenty of initiative and be able to deliver a high level of customer service. Our service work is all computerised and your computer skills will allow you to pick up our ERP system easily.




     A natural at multi-tasking, you will enjoy supporting others when the need arises and will always be willing to deliver options when solving enquires. 

    You will also assist as needed with Parts enquiries.

    You will have great written and verbal communication skills with a very methodical approach to your work, you will be great at prioritising daily tasks ensuring deadlines are met, you will also show high attention to detail.
